A member asked:

Why should oily skin people avoid scrubbing? shouldn't it help their skin care routine? or was i mislead by such info? i have an oily skin (not bad).

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Avoid scrubbing: Scrubbing the skin especially in sensitive places like the face can actually irritate the skin and cause more oil production as a reaction. Gentle cleansing with mild soap or cleanser and water is best.
