My mom has a 9 cm ovarian mass and is waiting to have it removed. she is feeling very exhausted, is this normal or could it be a sign of cancer?

Exam and testing: these may or may not be related. She must be examined and tested for any underlying medical issues.

Ovarian mass: Fatigue can be noted for many reasons, both due to benign disease and cancer, so in the presence of an ovarian mass, one shouldn't be rushing to cancer. But having good evaluation before surgery by someone who is comfotable with treating ovarian cancers is important. Intraoperative evaluation by a pathologist familiar with ovarian diseases is also critical as some decisions need to be made then.
