Only one Option.: There is only one option. Have your leg examined as soon as possible. Aside from a possible tendon problem, a phlebitis can have similar symptoms. No sense in taking a chance on this.

Once you complain: Of pain extending into the calf a DVT should be ruled out as a primary concern. What has been done for treatment if the Achilles tendonitis to date? We're xrays performed? Do you have a haglund's deformity or posterior spur? Need to know these things.
