Depends: on several factors, prenatal history, ? difficult labor, status immediately after birth, genetics, nutrition and others, your doctor has his/her own judgment that we need to trust, but you have the right for a second, or even third opinion, ask for a referral to a developmental pediatrician / pediatric neurologist
