I am on day 7 of severe dizziness. an ent just told me i have viral labynthitis. he gave med prednisone. not a very friendly dr so i didn't get to any questions. is there any hope for this to actually work for me? is there anything else i can do to get m

Hope yes: if you have serious symptoms, you would feel better to see an ENT who does the Epley maneuver. Then you could at home do a series of Brandt Daroff exercises. You have not been well served with the prednisone. Both maneuvers are well described on YouTube. I show my patients the Brandt Daroff exercises often. You need a better exam and second opinion tomorrow or soon. Good luck and happy healing.
