Maybe: An additional drug used to support blood pressure in this situation is a drug called midodrine which works by causing the blood vessels to constrict which raised blood pressure. This may or may not be appropriate based on the specific situation and would need to be discussed with ones doctor.

Autonomic Dysfunction: Proamatine (midodrine) is another option. Also wearing elastic stockings may help some individuals not only the orthostatic hypotension but also with the leg swelling that sometimes accompanies this condition.
