Ocassional sudden sharp pain when standing up from a sitting position and a constant dull pain to right hip. sharp pain when flexing hip up and over to left. could this be muscle or bone?

Sprain: A sprain of a muscle or ligament likely occured. This may take a week or more to heal. Rest and,if you can take them,NSAIDS like ibuprofen or Aleve (naproxen) may help to reduce any associated inflammation. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult an orthopedic surgeon for evaluation and treatment.
