If there is no comcomitant hip pathology and all "turning in" muscles +bone attchs of the hip show stress, can a l5 disc be causing hip to turn out?

Rotation outward: If there is also spasm in the buttocks muscles that control that maneuver such as the pyriformis. Sometimes a L5 disc with a pinched nerve aggrevates the buttocks muscles as well.
