CORRECT: everything you said is correct. wound bleed after taking sutures out. star strip applied to the wound after taking suture out to allow mobilzation of the digit without taking chance on the wound to split open. you do need to exercise you finger otherwise it will freeze on you. make sure that you do not have a fracture that you might destabilize by finger movement. so far so good,good luck.
