Yes: It is most important for you to find out what bit him. If he can't tell you, or if he doesn't know, if the skin has been punctured he must start anti-rabies vaccine. If evidence of infection, antibiotics. See if he can show you where it happened--perhaps there was a witness. Take him to your pcp, or if unavailable, an ER for evaluation and treatment.
