Clotted vein but why: Thisnisnprobably caused by a superficial clotted drain. Motrin may help as well as compresses. It is very unusual to for, these without prior trauma, infection, coagulopathy, etc i would recommend discussi g this with your physician.

Phlebitis: Phlebitis is inflammation of a vein. Trauma can be not noted and a vien can also be thrombosed.
