Strep test : Once you complete 48 hrs of antibiotics you are no longer contagious, make sure you finish the course even if you are feeling better. Use your own silver ware & cup or use disposables, lysol or bleech all surfaces in your kitchen & bathroom, frequent hand washing, cover your cough, no kissing for a couple of days & sleep by self . I hope that help, feel better.

No need: usually you are not contagious 24 hours after starting the antibiotic for a strep throat, take the full prescribed course, mouth gargles and good oral hygiene

24 hours.: Non infectious after 24 hours on antibiotics. No need for mask if you are not coughing or sneezing and you can use reasonable respiratory etiquette. Do not share utensils / food or have mucous membrane contact until you have completed 24 hours. Could wipe potentially exposed areas with simple soap and water or dilute bleach.
