My daughter was diagnosed with melanomna she discovered itva year ago but the dr. just removed itva week ago what are her chances of survival?

Check path report: the surgeon has to make sure that he removed every last cell and that none escaped. Unfortunately melanoma can spread not just by local extension but also via the blood stream. Therefore, your daughter has to have her total body fully inspected every year for the rest of her life for potential recurrences. Also no more sun bathing. The"primary" site may be hidden - see O.
