Wisdom teeth?: Sounds like a dry socket. Vs. Infection. See dentist or oral surgeon for assessment/treatment. Outside chance is TMJ problem.

Ear & jaw pain: Have you mentioned this to your dentist? It's possible you have TMJ dysfunction due to opening wide for the time necessary for the extractions. If there is no infection or dry socket, ask your dentist about TMJ issues.
