A member asked:

Why is my throat dry and soar at times?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Throat irritation: Common sources for throat irritation or drainage from above - the nose and sinuses - or reflux from below - stomach acid. If either of these are happening to you, over-the-counter treatment is available. Could try an antihistamine, decongestant, or acid blocker.
