Sounds like anxiety: This sounds like anxiety but if this persists you would want to get a physical evaluation. Panic symptoms can be addressed by therapy, medication or both. Some medications especially those that are used for anxiety and depression can cause dry mouth and this can complicate the problem. Talking to psychiatrist or other mental health professional would be the way to go if this symptom persists.
