A member asked:

I have microcystoid retinal degeneration, is there anyway to fix it? is that mean i will be blind one day?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Your Dx is benign: Peripheral microcystoid retinal degeneration's considered a benign & not infrequently found condition by ophthalmologists doing routine patient exams. However, there's a condition known as degenerative retinoschisis that can occur as a result of microcystoid degeneration. That CAN cause visual loss. What does the eye doc say?
