FACIAL ACNE: IF IT IS PERSISTENT, SEE A DERMATOLOGIST. UNTIL THEN, STOP EATING ALL NUTS, NO PEANUT BUTTER, CUT OUT ALL CHOCOLATE, AND CUT DOWN ON DAIRY. USE AN ACNE WASH AND A TOPICAL BENZOYL PEROXIDE CREAM OR GEL AT NIGHT.

Acne treatment: Firstly you should try OTC acne meds like 5-10 % benzoyl peroxide, in the form of wash or gel once daily for 3 months. Your acne may look worse after starting this treatment, but don't panic and continue for 3 mo. If no improvement, see your doctor doe prescription acne meds like Benzaclin, other oral antibiotic Retin A (tretinoin) etc. Mind you these are all long term treatments.
