Infectious mononucle: How long did he have it? Did his doctor mention anything about enlarged spleen? It is important to get this information before he can go back to workout or be with his girlfriend. You might as well talk to his Dr about your concerns. Good luck.

Mono: She likely already had the disease. The risk with mono can be enlargement of the spleen and this generally occurs within the 1st few weeks. Have your doctor check him for this. All the best.
