Probably unrelated: First, you need to get a reputable company to fix the water leaks that cause mold to grow. Unless the problem has been going on for years, your toddler's problems are probably unrelated. Recurrent ear infections are not rare until the age of 2; a major risk factor is allergy. If ear problems continue, have your child see a pediatric ENT and board-certified allergist immunologist.

See MD: mold on walls and windows may not be related at all to the ear infections; however, best for general health and prevention of possible allergy to molds to have molds removed. Baby should not take bottle to bed empty or full, as this increases chances of ear infection, choking, and cavities in front teeth.
