Stop: There has to be a reason that a young person has hand pain as you are too young to have significant osteoarthritis. Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) - think joint pain -and carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) - think tingling/numb - come to mind. You must find out the diagnosis as RA and CTS are treatable diseases that can lead to real problems if not promptly treated. The best doctor to see is a rheumatologist
