My index finger is aching. could i have possibly have arthritic bone from overuse?

Finger ache: If the aching is around the joints (the parts where the finger bends), it is most likely arthritis. If the aching occurs in the straight parts of the index finger between the joints, it may be a tendon inflammation, soft tissue infection, or a cyst causing the pain.
