Possibly: Gastroenteritis which is often due to a virus can cause abdominal pain and tenderness but is usually associated with other symptoms such as nausea, possible vomiting, fever, diarrhea. There are other causes as well, and if extreme tenderness is your only symptom you should be evaluated by a physician. Good luck.
