Yes: You can develop something similar to a bakers cyst in the back of a knee replacement A bakers cyst is a posterior displacement of knee capsule and fluid between two tendons in the back of the leg, often associated in the native knee with an intra- articular abnormality such as a meniscal tear; can occur in knee replacement if inflammation occurs, such as in polyethylene wear, let surgeon know.
