A member asked:

Just got my mri report. note is made of a lobular septated 2.6 cm posterior perisynovial ganglion cyst about the knee joint. is this the same as bakers cyst? do you think this caused my calf pain? do i need surgery to remove it? and is it must?

Your symptoms are consistent with Baker's Cyst. The need for treatment would depend on your need to get it treated. It is not an urgent issue. For info: https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/bakers-cyst/symptoms-causes/syc-20369950
