My grandfather passed away from alzheimer what's the change for my mom or i to get it?

Alzheimer's: Alzheimer's disease is not contagious but your mom could develop it,also. It also can be familial and passed on to children. I wouldn't worry very much about your developing it unless there is other family history of it. In my practice most cases were sporadic rather than familial.
