See local geneticist: Most comprehensive "First Trimester Genetic Screenings" are done between 10and 13 weeks when a combination of blood tests and sonographic exam of the fetus can be performed. A few ob geneticists and specialized labs may be able to screen your blood for fetal material (cell-free fetal DNA) a bit earlier than that.
