A member asked:

Does daily heparin or baby aspirin during pregnancy remove the risks of complication for 40+ when lp(a) is very high (381 nmol/l) at the start of pregnancy and there is also blood clotting genetic disorder?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

I regard heparin therapy as highly protective against both arterial and venous clot formation. In my opinion, aspirin is more effective against arteriolar clots than clots within veins.
