Hard case: These cases are very difficult and must be managed on a case by case basis. If the membranes are truly ruptured then the prognosis is poor. Close follow up with your doctor is warranted to frequently evaluate for infection. Your doctor may want to consider a maternal fetal medicine evaluation.
