While giving nasal saline drops to my baby, much more than the normal dosage of the fluid gushed into the sleeping child's nostril. is it worrisome?

No: If your baby is breathing fine, that shouldn't be worrisome, at any rate, the saline will be absorbed and no harm done,

Not at all: If baby's comfortable enough to sleep, things are fine. I often use saline like a garden hose to loosen the thickened mucous so baby can breathe better from there small nasal passages.
