I have a habit of waking up without sitting up & resting for a bit , then going about my day. i usually wake up then get up quick . is that something i should change ? is it bad?

Not bad: All of us wake up differently. There is nothing wrong with jumping up and starting your day at 23 years old. When you get much older you may need to let your body get used to different postures for a few minutes but at 23 that is not necessary. Go for it.
