My new cardio wants to switch me from nadolol to metoprolol for my increase hr. do other md prefer one over the other. he said it's the preferred drug?

Agree : Nadalol is B1 and B2 blocker whereas metoprolol is B2 and more heart selective. So if the goal is max heart effect then metoprolol is the way to go. You may tolerate it better.
