Miscommunication : Atrial fib, while a potentially serious issue if left untreated, should not cause pain. I think there was a miscommunication between you and your doctor regarding the cause of your facial pain. Neuralgia can result from many things, but not atrial fib.

Need diagnosis: A fib does not cause facial pain. See ent doc or orofacial-TMJ doc for diagnosis of facial pain.
