I woke up with severe facial pain. md said atrial fib in my sleep. given metoprolol but the pain is still severe. i am prone to bleeding. what can i?

Miscommunication : Atrial fib, while a potentially serious issue if left untreated, should not cause pain. I think there was a miscommunication between you and your doctor regarding the cause of your facial pain. Neuralgia can result from many things, but not atrial fib.
