Very common: After treatment, the gums will shrink as they get healthy and small spaces between the teeth may develop.

Give it time: The deep cleaning was performed to remove accumulated calculus and to stimulate gingival healing. After a healing period your dentist will re-evaluate the condition of your gums and determine if further treatment is necessary.
