Nerve injury: As you describe the distribution correlates with the posterior tibialis nerve. As symptoms are improving, I would not do any changes, should have full recovery. Are you taking any medications?

There is : Some nerve impingement going on.....an Emg/NCV study will help determine the level of pathology. I would recommend you see a neurologist to have the test performed.

Family history: Do you have any diabetes or thyroid disease in your family? Are you a smoker? could be circulation if you are a smoker. you circulation shuts down for four hours everyone you smoke a cigarette and that could be the tingling. You could also have some neurological issues. You need to see your primary care doctor.
