Started with pain in lower back/left more like upper bum, for few weeks. then left big toe started go numb, like if very cold, past few days (no pain, just feel numb, only the toe) now left leg start going weak/numb/tingling. just wait it out?

Sciatica: This sounds like you may have sciatica. If you are flexible and can stretch, try doing some stretches on the flat floor on a yoga mat.
Specifically, try doing the Pigeon Pose, which is specific for sciatic pain. This will be helpful in stretching the sciatic nerve.
