Venous stasis: Symptoms of venous stasis or insufficiency. Can look like cellulitis, and discolored, swelling, discomfort with dependency, relief with elevation. Diagnosis requires careful vein ultrasound with REFLUX studies (not just test for clots). If found, compression garments, elevation, and sometimes minor procedures will help. Hope this helps.
