Diagnosed with cellulitis on my toe from possible bug bite. no visible open areas but still tends to turn purple underneath skin. can i swim in a lake?

Not a problem: Swimming or other physical activities are fine during your recovery from such a bite. Be aware that lakes often contain fecal bacteria from animals that can contaminate any open wound or lead to problems if you ingest the water.
