Several: Ekg can often show a heart attack, and takes about 30 seconds to hook up and perform. If that does not have answer, blood tests will look for enzymes released by heart when being injured (like in heart attack), and takes about 45 minutes to get, unless have bedside testing (then about 3 minutes). Often admitted to hospital if cannot be sure (always admitted if having heart attack!).

First care: Urgently oxygen aspirin then ekg for st changes instantly then blood troponins < hour then cath lab. < 90 minutes.
