A member asked:

2 wk ago synthroid (thyroxine) dose increased to .1 mcg per md. feel very hyper even though tsh was 7.12. could this be too much synthroid (thyroxine)? tachy. pvcs. shaky

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not hyperthyroid: The high TSH means that you are not on enough thyroid hormone and that your actual thyroid level may be low. There are many reasons why people feel shaky and have palpitations that have nothing to do with your thyroid level. You should see your doctor for further evaluation.
