I had a CT scan done for pain in my lower abdomen, the results show that I have a collapsed sigmoid colon. What does this mean and what can be done ?
I had a ct scan and it was all good but it did say mild thickening of the wall of the mid sigmoid colon, probably due to muscular hypertrophy. What does this mean and is it serious? Went in to check for diverticulitis and I had a very mild case?
My recent CT scan says, "Bowel Structures: There is mild thickening to the sigmoid colon likely due to incomplete distention rather than colitis. There's no small bowel obstruction." Should I be concerned? Advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you?
