Possible abscess: I strongly suspect that decay has gotten under your cap ( crown) and infected the nerve of the tooth. Go see your dentist or an Endodontist. ( root canal specialist). Good luck.

Needs evaluation: It sounds like you may have an infection related to the tooth that has the crown (or an adjacent tooth) and the bump in your cheek may or may not be related to the possible tooth infection. You need to see the dentist who just inserted the crown for a clinical exam and x-rays and to sort this all out. Please don't wait as you are risk of more serious problems without proper treatment.

See a dentist: A tooth infection under the crown won't go away without treatment and the infection may spread to your jaw, cheeks, sinus and to other areas of your head and neck. Visit a dentist ASAP for definitive diagnosis and treatment.
