The new bumps are likely normal lymph nodes that have reacted to the bee stings or fever. Lymph nodes process body serum removing infectious or other debris from serum before returning it to the bloodstream. They normally enlarge for a few weeks before returning to smaller size. They are often found in the head or neck where there is minimal fat to cover them.
