How is the normal looking post op wounds? just got lap appendectomy 1 1/2 month ago and the wounds turning red but not sure. also diarrhea once a week

Probably ok: Without seeing the wound, you can't be completely sure, but it is very rare for a 6 wk old wound to suddenly start being a problem. There is a series of changes that every wound goes through that take up to a year to assume the final appearance. This includes a period of redness and a "knot". If there is no worsening pain or drainage, it's likely ok. The diarrhea is unrelated to the operation.
