My husband had an appendectomy 6 days ago he has been very lethargic with diarrhea and minimal appetite. also gets cold sweats. is this normal?

Needs medical input: Concerns would include intraabdominal abscess formation, reaction to a medication, clostridia difficile colitis secondary to antibiotic use, or delayed healing. He should see his surgeon if these symptoms persist another 1 or 2 days, especially if there is any fever.
