Color me brown.: If you think about it, brown discoloration can be caused by only a few things. The brown can be the color of a contaminate such as soil, dye in socks or shoes. The color can be from natural pigment cells located in the skin. My money is on discoloration from pigments in blood. The blister may have caused some blood fluid leakage under the skin and stained the skin brown.
