I will see a new doc who will determine if surgery for pilonidal cyst is medically necessary. what should i say to convince him? hurts? growing?

You don't have to: If doctor finds that you have pilonidal cyst , pain is possibly due to infection , then will recommend you surgical treatment . Some times initial treatment is drainage of abscess ( I &D ) and antibiotics.
