If you are careless: then Yes . You have open wound , possible to spread the bugs. Maintain good hygiene , wash your hands , dispose the soaked material properly , then you are not contagious.

Nasal infection: I would ask your treating doctor. They probably took a culture. Generally, one would like to see that the culture reports match up with the antibiotics that you are on, and that your symptoms are improving.
