A member asked:

I got pneumonia and this is day 7 on the antibiotics.when should i get a vaccine and which one of the two should i get?

Either ok: After having pneumonia from S. Pneumonia bacteria, your body should naturally make antibody to help you fight off any subsequent infections by that organism. Since you may not be sure that's the right bacteria, using either pneumococcal vaccine would be helpful to get better protection against another serious pneumonia
