A member asked:

Is it possible to find cervical cancer through a blood test?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Mostly no: There are no reliable blood markers for cervical cancer. The tumor marker ca125 is often an indicator of ovarian cancer, but it is not very sensitive and not very specific. It is used as a screening test in some circumstances, and to follow the effects of therapy when it has been documented to be high at the start. There are no blood markers that are good for endometrial cancer, either.
